After spending his early career as a telecom and web development executive at IBM, Sherwin Loudermilk founded Loudermilk Homes in 2009 to bring a passion for innovation and attention to detail to the luxury homebuilding business.

Now Loudermilk Homes is entering its second decade with a relentless focus on quality custom craftsmanship, transparency and advanced smart home technology.

The award-winning company’s Loudermilk Connect app gives clients 24/7 access to the homebuilding process along with real-time video feeds and schedule and budget updates, while a central server controls all major systems with cutting-edge smart home technology that can be integrated with voice activation devices such as Amazon Alexa or Google Home.

Loudermilk Homes developed a 9-step “Process to Perfection” that ensures a smooth and enjoyable experience from the initial design stage to construction and move-in for each luxury home. In 2017, the company launched Loudermilk Designs to provide clients with professional interior design service.

Before starting Loudermilk Homes, Sherwin developed luxury homes on 26 acres of land in northeast Georgia and he oversaw the complete renovation and residential repositioning of a historic 125-year-old brick building in Augusta, Georgia. Those projects helped Sherwin refine his financial models and create a more strategic approach to capital structuring.

A native of Atlanta, Sherwin has lived in four different countries. He earned an MBA in Business with a focus on finance and real estate from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University, and he holds a bachelor’s in business and management information systems from Georgia State University.

As Loudermilk Homes begins its second decade under Sherwin’s leadership, we look forward to finding new and better ways to design and build the finest quality luxury homes across metro Atlanta.
